911 Authority Board
The El Paso - Teller County Authority Board is composed of nine members.
Three members are appointed by the Colorado Springs City Council to represent the City. One member is appointed to represent Teller County. Two appointments are made by the El Paso County Commissioners, and represent El Paso County at Large. The remaining three members are appointed by the Authority to represent cities, towns, military and special districts.
Each Authority member can serve a maximum of two three-year terms. Considerable time is given by those who serve on the Board to assure that the 911 system in El Paso and Teller Counties operates in a highly professional manner.
