Cell Phone Emergency Notification System
The El Paso-Teller E-911 Authority can contact you via cell phone with our Cell Phone Emergency Notification System. Simply register your information below, and your cell phone number will be added to our registration database.
Prior to your information being submitted to the official Emergency Notification System database, you will receive a confirmation phone call from one of our staff members to verify that the information we have on file for you is accurate.
What To Expect When You Get A Call
The Emergency Notification System will call your registered phone number when a significant event occurs in the area of your registered address. If you have Caller ID on the number being called, the notification will display as "911 EVENT". The recorded message will begin with “THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM 911.” You will then be prompted to press “1” on your phone to listen to the message. If you end the call before the entire message has played, the system will call you back again, so PLEASE DO NOT HANG UP UNTIL YOU HAVE HEARD THE ENTIRE MESSAGE.
Please follow the instructions given during the message, and if prompted, call the phone number that is provided for you for further information.
IMPORTANT! DO NOT DIAL 911 FOLLOWING THE RECORDED MESSAGE.
