Background
Dean is the Deputy Chief for the Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District (NETCO), responsible for Operations and Training. He has over forty years of experience in both fire and emergency medical services, working as a firefighter, EMT, and paramedic, as well as in senior leadership positions throughout his career. Dean retired as the Fire Chief in Oldsmar, Florida after 25 years and was recently the Fire Chief in Cripple Creek prior to his current position. Dean is an instructor with the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland in the Executive Development and Leadership group.
Education
Dean has a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Troy University and is a graduate of the Executive Fire Officers Program at the National Fire Academy.
