Visit PeakAlerts.org and create an account. All information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.
You can stop receiving alerts at any time by removing your contact information from your profile.
You can gain access to your account by clicking "Forgot Username" or "Forgot Password" on the login screen. If you still cannot access your account, please email PeakAlerts@ElPasoTeller911.org.
Yes. Individuals can register multiple phone numbers on an account, but it is recommended that each family member has their own account to ensure messages are received.
Yes. Information in Peak Alerts is accessed by authorized emergency services personnel only. It will never be sold or given to a third party.
Listen to or read the message. Once receipt of the message is acknowledged, the system will stop notifying other devices in your account.
Peak Alerts can be sent by any of the 9-1-1 centers that make up the El Paso-Teller County 9-1-1 System. Since the messages are location-specific, they should come from your local public safety agency. Here are some of the numbers that may appear on your caller ID:

Text messages are delivered using the shortcode 88-911
- Power outages - cordless phones, computers, and VoIP equipment need electricity to work. You should register both landline and cell phones as well as email and text for the best chance to get a message delivered during an emergency.
- Telephone numbers that have a solicitation blocker (which requires you to enter your phone number before the line rings) or an answering attendant may prevent calls from being delivered to that number.
- If you have moved or your telephone number has changed, and you have not updated your account in Peak Alerts.
- If you have registered mobile devices and there is no service coverage at the attempted time of delivery.
Yes. The system is configured to leave a message on any phone line where voicemail service or an answering machine is detected.
Yes. TTY/TDD machines are automatically detected.
