When to Call 9-1-1

9-1-1 is for emergencies only. An emergency is an active incident that puts a person's health, safety, or property in danger. For reports of events that are no longer in progress or do not threaten a person's health, safety, or property, please find help through other resources. A list of non-emergency phone numbers, online reporting, and community hotlines and services can be found at ElPasoTeller911.org/Nonemergency-Resources.
