Schedule a School Presentation

1st Grade

This classroom super-hero themed program offers audio and visual effects for an engaging 45-minute presentation. Students will learn:

  • Emergency vs. Not an Emergency
  • How to call 9-1-1
  • The importance of knowing your address
  • Never play pranks or jokes on 9-1-1

Students will listen to real 9-1-1 calls placed by child callers who have been recognized as 9-1-1 Heroes. Each student will receive a handout at the conclusion of the presentation.

3rd Grade

The 9-1-1 Mobile Classroom simulates a house fire. During this 60-minute hands-on demonstration, students will learn:

  • Emergency vs. Not an Emergency
  • How to call 9-1-1
  • The importance of knowing your address
  • How to stay safe in an emergency

Using theatrical smoke, lights, smoke alarms, a heated door, and an escape ladder, students will learn how to get to safety so they can contact 9-1-1.
